We make haylage in large round bales and we also make some silage in large bales. As we are fully equipped, we can also offer a fully insured contracting service for a complete range of paddock services and grass care.

Haylage is a forage made for horses from grass that is cut in a similar way to hay, but not allowed to fully dry. It is turned until the correct dry matter is achieved and then sealed in plastic bales. A natural fermentation process then takes place, which preserves the grass and its nutrients and results in a dust free forage that is low in mould spores and highly palatable.

The bales are easy to feed, coming out in slices once unwrapped so you can easily handle the haylage and clearly see how much you are feeding.
